Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line technical support for users within the Admission and Registration Department.
  • Maintain and support the department’s registration and admission systems (e.g., SIS/Student Information Systems).
  • Assist with the implementation and upgrades of new features within registration and admission platforms.
  • Coordinate with the university’s central IT department to resolve network or system-related issues.
  • Train staff members on new technologies, systems, and procedures.
  • Create and maintain documentation for technical and functional procedures and processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and assist in generating reports from registration systems as needed.
  • Support students with technical issues related to online registration or document submissions.
  • Develop and design user-friendly applications to support the department’s needs.
Technical Responsibilities
Front-End Development
  • Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React.js, Angular, Next.js, or Vue.js.
  • Ability to build responsive and adaptive user interfaces.

Back-End Development
  • Expertise in .NET Core for developing secure and scalable server-side applications and APIs.
  • Strong experience with Node.js (Express, NestJS) for building backend services.
  • Designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, JWT).
Workflow Development
  • Ability to design, develop, and manage custom workflows within applications.
  • Experience building automated workflows for business processes, approvals, and notifications.
  • Understanding of process optimization, role assignments, and dynamic task flows.
Database Management
  • Proficient with SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Capable of writing efficient queries, stored procedures, and database optimization.
  • Experience building scheduled jobs, data validation rules, and error handling in ETL processes.
  • Ability to work with structured (SQL databases) and semi-structured/unstructured data (JSON, XML, CSV).
  • Familiarity with ETL tools such as Microsoft SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) or others.

Hosting and Publishing
  • Experience with hosting web applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or IIS.
  • Knowledge of domain management, SSL certificate installation, and DNS configuration.
  • Experience deploying both frontend and backend applications, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
  • Ability to monitor hosted environments and troubleshoot deployment or runtime issues.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a full stack developer, with expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies (experience in academic institutions is a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of student information systems or web-based platforms.
  • Familiarity with common troubleshooting techniques and IT support procedures.
  • Good communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience using university registration systems or CRM platforms.
  • Customer-service mindset and willingness to learn.
