Gnani.ai is Looking for:
Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) at Gnani sit at the intersection of engineering and customer impact. You will work directly with enterprise clients — BFSI, telecom, government — to design, build, and ship AI-powered applications on top of Gnanis Voice AI platform.
This is a hands-on engineering role — not a sales or support role. You will own full-stack application development, integrate Speech, LLM, and TTS APIs, design agent orchestration flows, and ship working product to clients fast. You are equally comfortable in a terminal and a client meeting room, and you use AI coding tools as a force multiplier to compress weeks of development into days.
You will be embedded with strategic enterprise accounts — and you will feed real customer pain points back to product and engineering. Your work directly influences what gets built on the platform.
What You Will Do

• Client-Embedded Solutioning: Work closely with enterprise clients; understand use cases, design architectures, demo fast prototypes
  
• Full-Stack Development: Build end-to-end AI apps (frontend, backend, data pipelines) using modern + AI coding tools
• Voice & Speech Integration: Integrate ASR/TTS/Voice APIs; handle real-time audio, transcription, telephony workflows
• LLM & Agentic Workflows: Build LLM features; design agent pipelines (tool use, RAG, orchestration)
• Evaluation & Observability: Set up metrics, guardrails, monitoring, hallucination checks, human-in-loop feedback
• System Design: Design scalable, low-latency AI systems (APIs, data, async, infra)
• Rapid Prototyping: Ship POCs quickly using AI tools for faster builds
• Product Feedback: Capture learnings & feed insights back into product roadmap
• Internal Enablement: Create docs, SDKs, templates to improve developer experience
  

Requirements
Must Haves

• 3–5 yrs of full-stack engineering experience (Python backend + React/Next.js frontend)
• Strong system design fundamentals: REST/gRPC APIs, async processing, caching, database design, scalability trade-offs
• Proficiency using AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to ship faster
• Comfortable with cloud deployment: Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure, CI/CD basics
• Comfort with ambiguity — able to navigate unstructured customer environments and drive to clear outcomes
• Strong communication skills — able to present complex technical solutions to non-technical executive stakeholders
  

Good to haves

• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) and agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI)

  Get Hired
• Experience integrating Speech APIs (ASR/STT), TTS APIs, or real-time audio pipelines
• Experience building agent evaluation frameworks: metrics, guardrails, hallucination detection, and AI observability
• Telephony platforms: Twilio, Exotel, Asterisk, SIP/WebRTC integrations
• Voice agent platforms: VAPI, Bland AI, Retell AI, or similar RAG system design: chunking strategies, vector stores (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector), retrieval evaluation
• Prior customer-facing or solutions engineering experience (FDE, SE, consulting engineer)
• Data pipeline tools: Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar; familiarity with MLOps patterns
• Knowledge of Indian language NLP or multilingual application design
• Domain experience in BFSI, telecom, or contact-centre technology

• L1: python coding + DSA - very strict
• L2: Problem statement in office (3-5hours)
