About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional to join our Investment Banking Team as MD/Director - Investment Banking & Head of Technology Sector Coverage.
This leadership role will focus on the coverage of Technology sector and drive strategic origination and execution of Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions, with an emphasis on IPOs, QIPs follow on offering etc
Role Overview:
We are hiring a seasoned and high-performing leader to join our Investment Banking team as MD / Director - Equity Capital Markets (ECM) with a dedicated focus on Technology Sector Coverage. This leadership role is critical to drive origination and execution of capital markets transactions including IPOs, QIPs, Rights Issues, and other fundraising activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead coverage across Technology sector including IT Services, Technology, SAAS, Telecom and allied sub-sectors.
- Originate and execute ECM transactions including IPOs, QIPs, Rights Issues, and other capital market activities.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with corporates, financial investors, sovereign funds, and government bodies.
- Manage end-to-end execution of complex transactions such as restructuring, corporate strategy, fund-raising, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to expand mandates in PE, M&A, and Structured Finance within the four sectors.
- Develop and implement strategies to position as a trusted client partner and lifecycle banker.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to build talent depth and team capability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal governance during all transactions.
Qualifications:
- MBA (Finance), CA, or relevant postgraduate degree from a reputed institute.
- Minimum 10 years of Investment Banking experience, with a strong focus on ECM and Technology sectors.
- Demonstrated success in leading ECM transactions and a deep understanding of Indian capital markets.
- Extensive industry network with proven stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication abilities.

- Strong expertise in Equity Capital Markets (ECM).
- Proven track record in IPO, deal origination, and execution.
- Leadership and mentoring experience.
