Business Finance Analyst (Fresher)

Urban Platter is looking for a sharp, passionate and research-driven Business Analyst to join our team. This is a foundational role suited for a fresher or junior candidate eager to work directly with the founder to drive business intelligence, strategy, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business performance across categories, channels and markets
• Create visually rich and insightful presentations for internal and external stakeholders (team, investors, partners)
• Develop case studies, trend reports and data summaries to support key initiatives
• Track market trends, consumer behavior, competitor activities and industry shifts
• Study startups, companies and categories for investment, acquisition or strategic partnership
• Support investor reporting, management dashboards, and monthly/quarterly updates
• Work cross-functionally to relay key data and insights to internal teams

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong command over business research, analysis and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, etc.)

• Interest in consumer brands, retail, food, D2C or FMCG space
• Clear, concise and confident communicator with a keen eye for design and detail
• Self-starter who thrives on curiosity, speed and accountability
• Mumbai-based or willing to relocate
