About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition and revenue growth for our US recruitment and staffing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and acquiring companies across the United States that require hiring support for Technology, Engineering, Product, Sales, Operations, Finance, Healthcare, and Leadership roles. This role requires strong consultative selling skills, experience selling recruitment solutions, and the ability to build long-term relationships with HR leaders, Talent Acquisition teams, and business decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
New Client Acquisition:
- Identify and target US-based startups, SMBs, mid-market companies, and enterprises with active hiring requirements.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients across various industries.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand workforce planning, hiring challenges, and talent acquisition needs.
- Engage with HR Directors, Talent Acquisition Managers, Recruiting Leaders, Founders, CEOs, and Hiring Managers.
Business Development & Sales:
- Present recruitment, staffing, RPO, executive search, and talent acquisition solutions to prospective clients.
- Develop customized proposals, service agreements, and pricing models based on client requirements.
- Lead contract negotiations and close new staffing partnerships.
- Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Drive opportunities for contingent staffing, permanent hiring, contract staffing, and recruitment process outsourcing engagements.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations.
- Act as a trusted recruitment partner by providing hiring insights and talent market intelligence.
- Identify opportunities for account expansion, repeat business, and strategic partnerships.

Market Intelligence & Research:
- Monitor US hiring trends, labor market developments, funding activities, and industry growth sectors.
- Stay informed about competitor offerings, pricing structures, and staffing industry best practices.
- Share market intelligence and client feedback with internal recruitment and leadership teams.
Collaboration with Recruitment Team:
- Partner closely with recruiters and delivery teams to ensure successful fulfillment of client requirements.
- Conduct intake meetings and align hiring strategies with client expectations.
- Facilitate smooth communication between clients and recruiting teams throughout the hiring lifecycle.
- Support issue resolution and client retention initiatives.
CRM & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, meetings, and sales activities within CRM platforms.
- Track key sales metrics including pipeline growth, conversion rates, proposals submitted, and revenue generated.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports for leadership review.
