Job Description

As a QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Python and Selenium, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating automated testing frameworks. Your primary focus will be on utilizing Selenium with Python to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.

Collaborating closely with QA Leads, you will play a key role in designing and executing comprehensive QA test plans for projects across various verticals. Additionally, you will be involved in creating white-box tests to validate internal code logic and functionality, as well as generating functional and non-functional test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
Your duties will also include executing test cases, documenting results with clear pass/fail status, and logging defects in the system. You will actively contribute to defect triage, management, and resolution by collaborating with Developers, UAT Testers, and other stakeholders. Moreover, you will help in developing and coordinating test design, updates, and execution strategies to align with sprint-based delivery.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining best-practice test management structures to ensure smooth workflows and high-quality output. Effective communication with cross-functional teams, including System Developers and Business System Analysts, through strong oral and written skills will be crucial for successful collaboration.
The required skills and experience for this role include a strong hands-on proficiency in Python and Selenium, with knowledge of Katalon Studio and Java being an added advantage. You should have a proven track record in managing and evolving automation frameworks, as well as a solid understanding of agile/sprint-based development cycles. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills, along with strong documentation, reporting, and communication abilities, are essential for this position.,
