Job Description

Exp: 10-15yrs
Location: PAN INDIA
NOTICE PERIOD: 0-30DAYS

Define the overall data migration architecture covering extraction, transformation, validation, ringfencing, reconciliation and audit control points
Design a cohort-based migration approach ensuring zero double handling, contract reconstruction, and phased parallel?run readiness.
Establish the canonical data model normalising SAP IS?U and Kraken differences
Architect and oversee ETL processes including ABAP, SAP BODS, SQL?based profiling, JSON conversion for Kraken ingestion, and transformation rule design
Ensure transformation rules align with Krakens domain model, validation rules, and reconciliation checkpoints.
Define and implement continuous data quality (DQ) profiling, cleansing, pre?migration readiness checks, and exception management
Lead the DQ framework ensuring no bad data enters Kraken and historical billing anomalies are normalized
Create and govern a centralised ringfencing framework, ensuring safe validation before go?live
Implement multi?level reconciliation including vertical, horizontal, parallel?run reconciliation, and exception?based reporting.
Work with integration teams to define bifurcation logic, routing rules, API constraints, and interim vs steady?state integration patterns during parallel SAPKraken coexistence
Supporting formulation of test strategy
Stakeholder & Governance Engagement

Significant experience in Software Development and Agile
Experience in data engineering, business intelligence and data science solution development.

10+ years in data migration architecture within utilities, energy, or large?scale ERP landscapes
Deep expertise in SAP IS?U data structures
Experience of migration to Kraken (Octopus Energy platform)
Strong ETL tooling: SAP BODS, ABAP, SQL, JSON mapping, data replication technologies.
Highly proficient in DQ, reconciliation, auditability, and migration governance frameworks
Experience delivering cohort?based migrations with SAP coexistence and phased customer movement
Ability to work with architecture, integration, QA, and business teams on end?to?end migration execution
IT Qualification - Degree or equivalent work experience

Professional certifications e.g. MCSE
