Senior AI Developer (Palantir AI Platform) DETAILS Location : Remote (strong preference to candidates local to Irving, TX 75039) Travel : If not local to the Irving, TX area, must be willing to travel in 1-2x per month, as needed Position Type : Direct-Hire Hourly / Salary : to $170K+ (based on experience level) JOB SUMMARY Vaco is currently seeking a Senior AI Developer (Palantir AI Platform) for a Direct-Hire opportunity that may be performed remotely with travel to Irving, TX approximately 1–2 times per month. The Senior AI Developer will own the complete lifecycle of enterprise AI initiatives. Rather than building isolated machine learning models, the Senior AI Developer will work directly with business leaders to identify valuable use cases, design technical architectures, develop production-grade AI applications, deploy them into cloud environments, and ensure they remain secure, scalable, monitored, and governed over time. The Senior AI Developer will operate at the intersection of AI Engineering, Software Development, Cloud Engineering, MLOps, Solution Architecture, and Business Consulting, requiring someone who is equally comfortable writing production Python code, designing LLM applications, facilitating whiteboard sessions with executives, and measuring business value after deployment. The goal is to partner directly with business leaders to identify high-impact use cases, architect and deploy production-ready AI solutions, and establish the engineering, governance, and MLOps standards needed to scale AI across the enterprise. Rather than building isolated AI models or proof-of-concepts, you'll create a repeatable AI delivery framework that enables the organization to leverage AI securely, effectively, and across multiple business functions.
