Job Description

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities on site. This includes discussing daily execution plans of the assigned construction project with the project manager (PM) and site engineer (SE). You will need to explain the execution steps to the agencies involved in the project, ensuring that they have a proper understanding of the tasks to be completed.

Your role will involve supervising the work being done by the construction agencies. If you notice any mistakes or deviations from the agreed tasks, it will be your responsibility to bring them back on track. You are expected to identify any issues related to workmanship, quality, wastage, or slow progress of work and report these issues to the SE/PM.
Furthermore, you will be required to suggest solutions to fix these problems and agree on the implementation steps with the PM/SE. It will be your duty to implement the solutions and monitor the progress. You should report the progress to the PM/SE on a daily basis, identifying potential issues with execution steps, timelines, resources, etc., and recommending corrective actions when necessary.

In addition, you will need to coordinate with the stores assistant for the material needs of the site. If there are potential issues with material availability, you should assist the stores assistant in taking corrective actions. Moreover, you are expected to suggest areas of improvement in the execution plan to the PM/SE.
This is a full-time, permanent position. The benefits include leave encashment and Provident Fund. The work location is in person.,
