- Own the initial outreach and nurturing of high-value leads from inbound inquiries triggered by marketing and events to intelligence-based account outreach.
- Operate with a quality over quantity mindset, curating personalised, insight-driven messages and multi-touch follow-up plans that genuinely resonate with enterprise-level prospects.
- Triage leads using Salesforce dashboards and conduct due diligence before engagement, in line with our Demand Gen SLA and Salesforce best practices.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, partner alliances, and regional teams to ensure every approach is informed by current market intelligence and aligned tactics.
- Inbound Lead Follow-Up: Respond rapidly and meaningfully to inbound leads, leveraging insights to spark consultative conversations.
- Event & Project Support: Engage high-value leads around our top-priority events and campaigns, contributing to the planning and execution of pre and post-event outreach strategies.
- Priority Account Outreach: Develop tailored prospecting plans for strategic accounts, supported by detailed research and collaboration across marketing and demand teams, plan and align outbound messaging, themes, and next steps.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records in Salesforce, including activity logs, lead stages, campaign statuses, and meeting records, ensuring full attribution and visibility for all stakeholders.
- Conduct weekly reviews of lead progression and campaign membership in line with our data hygiene processes.
- Attend regular reporting sessions, sharing insights on lead status, pipeline development, and lessons learned.
- Develop deep expertise in Valtechs complex offerings, from technology solutions to digital strategy, so you can confidently articulate how we help solve client challenges.
- Build the foundational skills and knowledge essential for a long-term career in new business - this role is the first step on our Business Development career path.
- Engage in collaborative forums with your peers across Europe, exchanging best practices and sharpening your approach through shared feedback and support.
- Gain hands-on exposure to Valtechs full GTM motion - from marketing campaigns to outbound account planning to opportunity creation - positioning you for advancement into a strategic sales or growth role.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Experience: Youve spent 35 years in a new business or sales-focused environment, ideally within technology or digital services.
- Multi-Tasker: You excel at juggling multiple activities - whether its running inbound follow-ups, prepping for events, or strategising outreach - without losing track of details or deadlines.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Youre energised by the hunt for new opportunities, unafraid to test new approaches and have a knack for turning insights into action.
- Great Communicator: You can articulate complex ideas in a relatable, concise manner. Youre also an empathetic listener, able to read between the lines to identify client pain points.
- Tech-Savvy & Curious: You follow digital trends and see the potential of technology to reshape businesses, and you enjoy learning more about it every day.
- Self-Starter: You manage your priorities and workload independently, using your judgment on when to collaborate and when to drive forward solo. You proactively uphold data hygiene and SLA commitments without being prompted.
- Future-Focused: You see yourself evolving into a true new business leader and want the mentorship and platform to grow in that direction.
- CRM Fluent: Familiarity with Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms is a plus - you understand how to track lead stages, campaigns, and activities to support data-driven decision-making.
