What You’ll Own
Vance is on the lookout for skilled Backend Engineers with 1 to 5 years of experience, particularly those proficient in Java and Spring Boot. In this role, you will be a key player in our backend development team, focusing on executing and delivering high-quality, scalable backend solutions that drive Vances fintech innovations forward.
What You’ll Do

• Backend Development: Develop and implement high-quality backend solutions using Java Spring Boot, focusing on scalability and performance.
• Code Contribution: Actively contribute to our codebase, ensuring robust, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Collaborative Development: Work closely with product and frontend teams to deliver integrated and cohesive solutions that align with our product goals.

• Quality Assurance: Participate in the testing process, identifying bugs and optimizing code for the best possible performance and reliability.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest in backend technologies and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation at Vance.
  

What We Need

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in backend development, with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot. Experience in fintech or product-based startups is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in backend languages and frameworks, especially Java/Spring Boot. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and cloud services.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering efficient and scalable solutions.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team, collaborating with cross-functional units to achieve project goals.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing project needs and technologies.
