Our client is a global sports betting, gaming, and entertainment provider listed on the FTSE 100 that includes some of the most innovative, diverse, and distinctive brands.

Position / Group description:

The Analytics tribe is searching for a Data Scientist to join their team based out of their Hyderabad office with a hybrid working schedule of 2-3 days per week. The Data Scientist will be responsible for building data products and analytical methodologies to promote an insight-driven culture, offer advanced services, and share knowledge across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Research and develop methodologies and best practices for analytics across the organization, with a focus on driving data insights and simulations to support data-driven decision-making.
• Find opportunities for automation and build solutions that enable the business to work smarter and faster.
• 
  Model complex problems and perform large-scale simulations to provide stakeholders with foresight and confidence in data insights.
• Explore data to create business value and provide stakeholders with actionable insights.

Essential Experience/ Skills:

• 3+ years experience with Python/R & SQL
• Experience with data analytics platforms (KNIME, Alteryx, Apache NiFi, Talend or similar)
• Experience in applying statistical techniques to problems (hypothesis testing, casual impact, regression analysis, time series analysis or similar)
• Ability to think through complex problems and articulate solutions concisely

  Get Hired
  Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to identify areas for data-driven optimization, such as improving user experience or increasing revenue.
• Developing predictive models to forecast user behaviour and inform product development decisions.
• Conducting experiments and A/B tests to optimize marketing campaigns and improve customer engagement.
• Designing and implementing dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Previous experience with online gaming, casinos
• Prior version control (Github, Bitbucket etc)
