Treasury Accountant

About The Position
Velosio is looking for a Treasury Accountant to be an integral member of the Finance Team.
As a Treasury Accountant at Velosio you will be responsible for performing daily procedures to ensure the timely and accurate reporting and processing of bank transactions, both internally and externally.

Your Day Might Look Like

• Being responsible for corporate cash, bank account, system administrator activities and related reporting.
• Reviewing and processing daily deposits, payment batches and billing transactions, while interfacing with billing to ensure the completeness of revenue.
• Ensuring that adequate documentation is maintained to support all payments.
• Working with the Front Office Staff and Shared Services departments to record and rectify any variances.
• Accurately scanning, attaching, and filing all documentation.
• Working directly with the AR and Billing departments on any issues found.
• Reconciling Bank Accounts Daily/Monthly.
• Preparing and issuing treasury reports related to cash, cash flow, working capital, debt, interest, foreign currency, intercompany, and various other routine and ad hoc.
• Assisting in the opening and closing of bank accounts; maintain authorized signatories on all bank accounts.
• Responding to inquiries on status of payment and deposits.
• Creating, documenting, and suggesting improvements for processes, policies and procedures and participate in the implementation and roll out.
• Assisting with the continuous improvement of departmental documentation of and support for financial statement activity and balances.
• Providing ad hoc reporting and assist with various ad hoc financial analysis and modeling on financial projects.
  

What Youll Bring

• BA/BS degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel (formulas and pivot tables).
• Working knowledge of MS Office programs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency.
• Customer service focused.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  

You Might Also Bring

• Previous experience with system administration for Applicant Tracking Systems (Paycor Recruiting preferred).
• Experience creating graphic designs in Canva or a similar platform.
• Experience building a cohesive and engaging onboarding program to be used across all departments.
• Experience sourcing passive candidates across a variety of departments and various platforms.
