Finance Compliance Specialist

Position Summary
We are looking for a Finance Compliance Specialist to join our growing Global Finance Team. This full-time position will be responsible for a broad range of corporate financial responsibilities across the globe and assisting VAT Reports for APAC/EMEA/Americas entities, and more. This individual will report to our Compliance Manager within the GIFT Team.
This individual will report to the Compliance Team Manager- GIFT.
The team that this role is a part of is primarily based out of India.
Responsibilities

• Reconcile the sales and purchase listings with the Income statement and VAT on sales and purchase listing with the balance sheet.
• Preparation and submission of VAT/GST/SST reports to the APAC/EMEA/Americas regional team.
• Support on annual compliance assignments.
• Assist in the transfer pricing computation and associated bookings and any other tasks as assigned by the manager.
• Provide support to internal stakeholders by facilitating and responding to their queries.
• Provide ongoing maintenance of the Compliance Tracker and management of all finance documentation, ensuring robust audit trails.

• Assist with NetSuite projects, clean-up, and maintenance; working with internal Finance teams.
• Assist with preparing local month-end processes; including maintaining the day-to-day journal entries and bookkeeping tasks.
• Assist in sharing Audit samples/reports requested by Auditors and support to Regional Finance Team handling the Complinity Activity Management tool.
• Assist in streamlining and improving processes, including automation initiatives.
  

Qualifications/Skills

• BA/BS/M.com/MBA in Accounting/Finance or equivalent working experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in a VAT specialist role.
• Business proficiency in English.
