Job Description

As a candidate for this role, you should possess:
- Over 10 years of extensive experience in Drupal, including architecture, APIs, and module development across versions like Drupal 7, 8, and 9
- Proficiency in the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Node.js
- A solid grasp of system design, distributed systems, and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with website search technologies like OpenSearch, Solr, and Elastic Search
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- Leading the development of scalable and maintainable solutions for our existing websites using modular and reusable components
- Guiding new development efforts for our component-based website systems while ensuring seamless integration with our underlying content management system
- Providing high-level direction on front-end architecture and technical design/implementation of our websites
- Enhancing the overall performance of our websites and ensuring compliance with current standards and best practices
- Reviewing team designs and offering feedback on deployment safety, resilience, scale, performance, and security
- Collaborating with Product and UX Design teams on customer needs, user experience, implementation efficiency, and performance

- Conducting thorough testing of all changes before deployment and ensuring well-considered deployment plans that include scalability and load tests
