POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sales & Marketing Head - EV (International Business) is a pivotal global leadership role designed to spearhead the exponential growth of Electric Vehicle portfolio across international markets. This leader will own the strategic mandate to build and scale the company's electric mobility footprint in global markets, transforming into a dominant global player in the sustainable mobility sector.
This role goes beyond traditional sales & marketing; it requires a visionary architect to lead market entry strategies, forge high-value partnerships, and drive revenue generation across diverse geographies. The incumbent will champion brand building and customer experience excellence, establishing the benchmark for EV ownership globally (outside India) while navigating complex regulatory landscapes and evolving consumer preferences.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)
- Export and Retail sales volume achievement (Units) vs. Annual Operating Plan.
- Market share growth
- Achievement of Revenue and Contribution Margin targets.
- Number of new markets opened with demonstrated commercial success.
- Brand awareness and consideration scores in key markets.
- Customer satisfaction indices and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Digital lead conversion rates and retail penetration %.
- Successful deployment and scaling of new business models
- EV sales training annual planning & deployment

Education
- MBA from a premier institution or equivalent advanced degree in International Business/Marketing.
- Engineering background (Automotive/Mechanical/Electrical) is highly preferred.
Experience
- Min. 15-20 years of progressive experience in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
- Minimum 8-10 years of rich experience in international sales, exports, and global business development.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling businesses in international markets.
- Demonstrated experience managing P&L and driving profitable growth at scale.
- Exposure to electric vehicle technology, clean energy, or the mobility sector is highly desirable.
- Geographic Scope: Global except India (South Asia, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and EU).
