Job Description
Educational Qualification: LL.B.
Eligibility Criteria
- For cases in JMFC, CJM, ACJM, Civil Judge, ARC, ACJ, SCJ, Guardianship matters, District Consumer Forum, Revenue cases, Senior Citizen cases, etc., Advocate shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience at Bar.
- For cases in ASJ Courts (NDPS, POCSO, CBI, Special Courts), ADJ/Civil Courts (ADJS, LAC, MACT, Labour Courts, etc.), and Family Courts: Advocate shall have a minimum of 7 years of experience at Bar.
- The empanelment shall be for a period of three years, subject to quarterly performance reviews.
- Empanelled Advocates shall provide their services on a Pro Bono basis and shall not be entitled to any professional fee.
- Attendance at training programs and refresher courses organized by the DSLSA and District Legal Services Authorities is mandatory. Unauthorized absence may result in removal from the panel.
- Empanelled lawyers must submit case-wise progress reports on a monthly basis to their respective DLSAs. Failure to submit reports may lead to removal from the panel.
- Empanelled Legal Services Advocates shall not represent themselves as having a client-attorney relationship with DLSA or DSLSA.
- The Authority reserves the right to empanel any Advocate at any stage.
