Verismart.ai - Backend Developer - Node.js

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Backend Developer with a strong understanding of Node.js and blockchain technologies to join our team.
This role involves designing, developing, and implementing backend solutions focusing on consent management, KYC interoperability, and blockchain-based systems. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about cutting-edge technology and blockchain innovation.
Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable web services using Node.js frameworks like Express.js.
• Ensure the codebase is clean, modular, and well-documented.
• Apply basic blockchain knowledge, including generating and verifying proofs, and understanding concepts
• Design and implement secure, efficient RESTful APIs to interact with databases and third-party services.
• Leverage deep knowledge of JavaScript for both frontend and backend development.
• Work closely with product teams, front-end developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Work with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) and SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Develop microservices-based architectures and use Docker for containerization.
  

Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts, Ethereum, and proof generation/verification.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols like OAuth and JWT.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and deployment strategies.
• Experience with microservices architecture and Docker.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with smart contracts and Solidity is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Node.js Developer with 4-5 year of experience
