What Youll Be Doing...
As a Software QA Engineer in the Video Product team, you will be working on the QA certification of the Verizon Set top box, console applications for video customers. You will be involved in analyzing the requirements, assessing test coverage, defining and executing test scenarios in a timely manner, tracking bugs to closure, and thereby delivering a high-quality video product.

• Working with multiple teams such as the Development team, Services team, Project management teams, PLM teams for the end-to-end certification of the product.
• Understanding the business requirements & framing test scenarios, test cases, execution of tests.
• Defining test strategy to oversee test process execution.
• Creating and managing bug reports and communicating with the team.
• Defining, observing, analyzing, and reporting on key QA Metrics.
• Setting up, maintaining, and operating automation frameworks on multiple application platforms like Web, Mobile, and Set top Box.
• Involving in the improvement initiatives of projects, including team tools, process changes, and test automation.

Youll Need To Have

• Bachelors degree or one or more years of work experience.
• Experience in testing Video apps on Android devices with sound knowledge of the different tools and methods used in android testing.
• Experience in analyzing users stories for Test case creation & proficient with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, Figma.
• Knowledge/Experience of testing fundamentals such as TDD, BDD with exposure in execution of all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression).
• Knowledge/Experience in verifying data with the use of any API Testing tools e.g. Postman.
  

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe teams.
• Ability to adopt an automation-first approach and execute the automation test strategies.

Get Hired
• Knowledge of reusable component development and Databases/SQL with proficiency in any programming language such as Python/Java/Selenium.
• Collaboration skills to manage peers, partners, and other stakeholders.
