Veritas is currently looking for motivated/ competent individuals to contact clients and collect outstanding payments. Candidate will strike a balance between maintaining trustful relationships and ensuring timely payments. Our Collection Analyst should exhibit professionalism and trustworthiness. And should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as an ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Manage collections portfolio and take ownership of closure of open invoices and aging reduction
- Forecasting cash accurately for monthly collectable
- Follow collection protocol & adhere to process guidelines as per Veritas policies
- Send statement of accounts to customers and do rigorous follow- up daily
- Manage collections, billing, disputes, order booking, sales related etc. queries from customer
- Manage unposted payments & send it to AR team for clearance
- Clear and reconcile unapplied payments
- Timely collection of payments as per the payment terms
- Prepare the customer credit snapshot in case of past due & escalate to management
- Reviewing and Releasing orders from credit check failure
- Making outbound calls as and when required & attending incoming calls from customers
- Process refunds to customer as per the scenarios & sending it to AP team for disbursement
- Prepare withholding tax/sales tax packets & sending it to tax team for clearance
- Managing dunning program to send the invoices to customer on a regular basis
- Review weekly aging and track the newly billed customers for portal uploads
- Prepare collection summary report & sending it to management for review.
- Build strong, cross-functional relationships & Coordinate with Cash application, Billing, AP, Order Management, Customer service & sales team to resolve the customer & any internal queries.
Requirements and Competencies:

- Excellent English communication skills (Verbal & Written).
- Oracle 12 or other ERP Accounts Receivable experience is required.
- Proficiency in Accounts Receivable and ability to offer support to accounting functions.
- Excellent analytical skills for reporting & presentations.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel
- Comfortable working with targets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree with Accounting or Finance related training
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Collections
