Job Description
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Banks operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.Roles & Responsibilities
- The Scrum Master guides, coaches and mentors up-to three Agile teams to support Digital Bank’s Mobile/Internet Banking applications for Regional Markets.
- Handling Mobile / Internet Banking Projects for Digital Bank program across releases and businesses for the domain assigned.
- Facilitate team level Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, etc Support the Product Owner to ensure the Agile artefacts used by the team are healthy and up-to date.
- Keep JIRA updated with the current status so that if reflects the correct status in the reports generated using Dashboards.
- Accountable for cross team reporting to Program Manager Track all the impediments closely and take them to closure.
- Tracking, monitoring and reporting project progress. Work with each scrum team to institute the Agile framework that best fits team activities.
- Familiarize the team with the common elements of the chosen system such as Daily Scrums and Sprint/Iteration Reviews.
- Ensuring your project dependencies on other projects /platforms are on their roadmaps and timing and integration environments will be ready when your teams need them.
- Ensuring the work other teams need from your team/s are included and prioritised appropriately in your teams work backlog.
- Guide continuous backlog refinement with the team in consultation with Product Owner. Foster trust and collaboration across all team members; make it safe to challenge, experiment and fail without fear.
- Promote and coach healthy communication in and around the team. Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to develop and foster cross team communication.
- Protect team from external interruptions to execution. Maintain all the information in Confluence pages. Proactively recognize conflict; facilitate conflict resolution through collaboration and consensus.
- Track team impediments and escalate those that cannot be resolved within the team. Manage and communicate effectively with domain leads at senior level and working level teams.Requirements
- Candidate should have minimum of 8+ Years of experience in Scrum.
- Should have led projects involving delivery across multiple applications/systems.
- Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously is required.
- Ability to communicate difficult sensitive information tactfully is required. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
