Job Summary
We are looking for a visionary and technically strong Director Power BI to lead our Business Intelligence strategy and delivery across enterprise clients. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep expertise in Power BI, Databricks, and modern data architecture on the cloud, particularly Azure.
The ideal candidate will combine technical depth, strategic thinking, delivery excellence, and leadership to drive large-scale BI transformation for clients across industries. You will lead cross-functional teams, define architectural standards, and engage directly with C-level stakeholders to influence business outcomes through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:

• Define and drive the BI & Analytics vision and architecture roadmap aligned with client business goals.
• Lead and grow a high-performing team of BI architects, developers, and analysts.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to evangelize data-driven decision making using modern BI tools and platforms.
• Contribute to client strategy engagements, helping define how Power BI and Databricks fit into broader data modernization programs.
  

Technical Architecture & Delivery

• Architect enterprise-grade Power BI solutions integrated with Databricks, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, and other cloud-native services.

• Set best practices and governance frameworks for semantic modeling, data visualization, and performance optimization.
• Oversee the full BI lifecycle from data ingestion to reporting ensuring reliability, scalability, and usability.
• Guide teams on DAX performance, data model optimization, and integration patterns with cloud data platforms.
  

Business Development & Consulting

• Provide pre-sales support, solution design, and proposal development for analytics engagements.
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry forums, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify and drive growth opportunities in BI & analytics practice.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1525 years of experience in BI & Analytics, with at least 4+ years in an architecture or director-level leadership role.
• Proven expertise in Power BI (enterprise models, DAX, report lifecycle, Row-Level Security).
• Strong working knowledge of Databricks for data transformation and analytics use cases.
• Deep understanding of Azure data ecosystem Azure Data Lake, Synapse, ADF, Azure SQL, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certifications in Power BI, Azure, or Databricks.
• Experience in building and scaling analytics practices or CoEs.
• Exposure to AI/ML integration with BI tools is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering in Python/Spark.
• Familiarity with governance frameworks, CI/CD pipelines for BI, and cloud security.
