Senior Manager- Corporate Relations

Role Summary

Virohan is looking for a Senior Manager - Corporate Relations to lead, and scale the employer partnership function that powers internships, on-the-job training (OJT), and placements for Virohan candidates across the country. This role owns the end-to-end employer ecosystem for the healthcare and alied sectors — from signing strategic, brand-name partnerships to ensuring every internship delivers measurable learning outcomes and every placement reflects we l on the Virohan brand. The individual wi l manage the Employer Relations team, implement and evolve the partnership strategy, and be personaly accountable for landing marquee employer brands in every healthcare-adjacent category Virohan serves.

Key Responsibilitie

Strategic Partnerships

• Build long-term partnerships with hospitals, diagnostics, medtech, pharma, and healthcare organisations.
• Lead negotiations and close strategic and marquee employer partnerships.
• Build exclusive and preferred-partner agreements.
• Manage key employer accounts and senior stakeholder relationships.
• Represent Virohan at industry forums and healthcare conferences.

Internship, OJT & Placements

• Lead internship, OJT, and placement operations across campuses.
• Manage employer requirements and candidate matching.
• Ensure structured roles, documentation, compliance, and smooth execution.
• Improve placement processes and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder & Performance Management

• Manage employer and candidate escalations.
• Collaborate with Academic, Content, Operations, and Sales teams.
• Track partnerships, placements, employer retention, and satisfaction.
• Own MIS, dashboards, KPIs, and leadership reporting.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Employer Relations team.
• Set team goals and performance expectations.
• Build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7-12 years of relevant experience in Corporate Relations, Employer Partnerships, Business Development, Campus Placements.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience managing teams.
• Experience managing partnerships across multiple locations or campuses.
• Strong experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
• Proven experience closing strategic employer partnerships.
• Experience in internships, OJT, or placement programs is preferred.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
