Manager - Real Estate Accounting

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Develop and maintain chart of accounts, SOPs, and standardized accounting procedures.

- Conduct waterfall analyses and support financial modeling for real estate operations.

- Manage accounting tasks within platforms such as MRI, Yardi, Sage, or Rent Manager.

- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company-specific accounting standards.

- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support operational and financial decision-making.

- Self-organize daily and weekly workloads without requiring detailed task lists.

- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Required Qualifications:

- Active CPA license (mandatory).

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a real estate operations company.

- Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: MRI, Yardi, Sage, or Rent Manager.

Strong knowledge of:

- Financial reporting & analysis.

- GAAP.

- SOP creation and implementation.

- Waterfall analysis.

- Chart of accounts setup.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Fluent English with minimal accent.

- Ability to work US business hours consistently.
