Analyst / Associate Commercial Due Diligence - Consumer Sector
Job Location: Fort, Mumbai (Transitioning to Worli in 2 to 3 Months)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct industry research to build sectoral thesis, identify top priority segments and shape funds investment thesis.

- Develop and review financial models, analyze investment memoranda, source and process company data, map competition and analyse other investment metrics to evaluate the attractiveness of potential investments.
- Provide analytical support and insights to leadership.
- Prepare clear, structured IC memos to support investment recommendations.
- Assist leadership in executing transactions, including appointment of advisors, coordination of diligences, managing external stakeholders, reviewing legal documents etc.
- Monitor portfolio companies and perform periodic valuations and analysis.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Master's degree in finance, economics, business from reputed institute.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, Corp. M&A, family office or a related field.
- Strong understanding of finance and investment principles, including financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- D2C or Consumer sector experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
