o Understanding of
Standards on Auditing (SAs) issued by ICAI

audit planning, vouching, verification, and reporting

Taxation Knowledge

o Basic knowledge
of Income Tax Act, GST laws, and filing procedures

o Exposure to TDS,
tax audit, and return filing

Company Law & Regulatory Framework

o Basic understanding
of Companies Act, 2013, ROC filing, etc.

o Knowledge of secretarial
compliances is useful

MS Office & Audit Tools

o Proficiency in Excel
(pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)

Tally, Busy, or ERP software (like SAP, Oracle)

o Knowledge of audit
software (e.g., CaseWare, IDEA) is an advantage

Assist in Statutory audits, tax
audits, and internal audits.

support in preparation and filing of
income tax return(ITR) and GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)

Help with TDS Compliance and
Preparation of form 16/16 A.

Conduct vouching, verification and reconciliation
of accounts.

Perform data entry and work with
Tally, MS-Excel, and accounting software.

Draft audit reports and
documentation

Assist senior staff in client
meetings and compliances.

Stay updated with ICAI guidelines,
Tax Laws, and amendments.

- Liaison with Statutory Audit and
Internal Audit

- Monthly MIS

- Payable and Receivable Management
/ Fixed Assets

- Knowledge of filing of various
returns of TDS / PF / ESIC / PT

- Knowledge of Income Tax Act and
filling of returns

- Knowledge of Assessment, Appeals,
Provisions, etc. of Income Tax / Sales Tax / VAT etc.

- Strong Knowledge about GST and GST
reconciliation, Filing returns etc.

- Over all supervision over
accounting, taxation, bill passing team work
