Purpose of Role

In this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders and business process owners to analyse, identify and design opportunities to optimize the current SAP SuccessFactors HCM system. The candidate will do so by providing Service Partner/Business Analyst support in close partnership with the relevant stakeholders.

Scope

This is an individual contributor role, joining a current team of 4.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be an effective Service Partner/Business Analyst in supporting business users from HR
  • Understand, analyse and support business needs to formulate comprehensive business requirements
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders in clear, non-technical language
  • Analyse business requirements, interdependencies, risks and benefits to propose sustainable recommendations and solutions
  • Effectively support the implementations of new products or changes, including planning, resourcing, vendor management, stakeholder management, and change request management
  • Work with vendors to manage day to day operations to meet SLA and business expectations
  • Stakeholder and Vendor Management:
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand their strategic goals and operational needs
  • Communicate effectively to bridge the gap between technical teams and HR stakeholders
  • Manage outsourced vendors to ensure they meet project requirements and align with business needs

Technology Solutioning:

  • Hands-on technical configuration of the HR technology solutions
  • Identify and recommend appropriate HR technology solutions
  • Work with cross functional teams to design, implement, and integrate HR applications
  • Ensure that technology solutions align with HR strategies and compliance requirements
  • Gather feedback from HR end-users and make necessary adjustments to applications
  • Verify vendor solutions for feasibility and alignment with business needs and oversee project performance
  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for HR applications
  • Keep up-to-date on the half yearly system release specifications, create & update system processes and procedures
  • Keep up-to-date on HR industry system trends and applications.

Project Management:

  • Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones
  • Monitor and track project progress, ensuring timely delivery of HR technology initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives

Attributes/ Technical Skills

Essential:

  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors HCM systems in the capacity of support consultant or in-house HR technology support team
  • Experienced in technical hands-on configuration in SAP SuccessFactors HCM modules such as and not limited to Employee Central, Time off, Performance & Goals, Compensation modules
  • Hands-on technical configuration of SAP SuccessFactors HCM in areas of workflow configuration settings, approval process, business rules, role based permissioning, Reporting tools and integrations
  • Experiencing in managing SAP SuccessFactors half yearly system release specifications
  • Experience working with 3rd party providers

Desirable:

  • Minimum 1 full-cycle large enterprise level SuccessFactors implementation of various modules in SAP SuccessFactors
  • Good understanding of API/ODATA Integration & experience in Object Oriented ABAP like Class/methods is a plus

Essential:

  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors HCM systems, working in a capacity of Business Analyst
  • Knowledge of Project management
  • Well versed in analysis, configuration, testing, implementation and post implementation support, understand technical and functional specifications from HR perspective
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Effective client-handling skills
  • Strong prioritizing ability and organizational skills
  • Analytical, meticulous, and systematic in approach to work
  • Proactive, flexible, and adaptive to changing priorities
  • Good communication, interpersonal and follow-up skills
  • Possess can do attitude, ability to exercise initiative and make decisions with little or no supervision and be accountable for such actions
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Effective stakeholder-handling skills
  • Strong prioritizing ability and organizational skills
  • Analytical, meticulous, and systematic in approach to work

Education and Professional Qualification

Essential:

• Masters or Bachelor degree in Computer Science/BE/B.Tech/MCA preferred.

Desirable:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
