Role Overview
This role is all about digging deep into sustainability and ESG themes, evaluating companies across environmental, social, and governance parameters, and turning that work into insights that strengthen investment decisions.
What Youll Work On:
- Track and analyse trends in sustainability, ESG, corporate governance, business ethics, and upcoming regulations.
- Identify which ESG issues actually matter for each sector and company.

- Use data and analytical tools to question, challenge, and benchmark company practices.
- Build sector-level reports and rank companies based on disclosure quality, performance, and qualitative judgment.
- Turn complex research into clear, sharp PowerPoint presentations.
- Interact with company leadership teams to understand sustainability strategy and progress.
- Manage proxy voting across all resolutions for portfolio companies.
- Maintain internal databases for Proxy Voting, the Stewardship Code, and SFDR-related requirements.

- Strong analytical and research mindset.

- Crisp attention to detail and a structured way of working.
- Ability to work from the Mumbai office.
Qualifications:
- LLB or LLM.
- 4 to 7 years in stock market or equity research.
- ESG experience is nice to have, not mandatory.
