Job Description
- As the Head of Digital IT at VW Group Digital Solutions, you will play a crucial role in driving the digital transformation agenda across entities in India, Portugal, and Germany. Your responsibilities will include:
- Anchoring the execution of a 3-year digital transformation roadmap to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide strategic priorities.
- Driving enterprise data initiatives by developing and scaling data lake infrastructure.
- Leading budget management and strategic planning for the Digital IT Team, overseeing investment allocations.
- Promoting cross-functional collaboration across India, Germany, and Portugal IT teams to implement digitalization strategies.
- Establishing success metrics for Digitalization projects and providing insights to senior leadership.
- Overseeing the delivery of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom IT solutions, and promoting design thinking and agile methodologies.
- Driving the strategic adoption of COTS platforms and custom-built tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Embedding AI-enabled applications across business functions to improve decision-making and automation.
- Developing and maintaining a robust data lake infrastructure to support enterprise-wide analytics.
- Leading software engineering practices and facilitating the delivery of Product MVPs in collaboration with Digital Delivery departments.

- Establishing metrics to assess the success of innovation projects and reporting findings to senior leadership.
- Ensuring compliance with InfoSec, legal, and regulatory standards in all digital initiatives.
- Developing future-ready IT teams focused on emerging digital technologies such as AI and Cloud.
- Leading rapid prototyping efforts and overseeing application delivery and integration initiatives.
These responsibilities will require you to be a strategic partner to business and technology leaders, ensuring alignment between digital initiatives and enterprise goals. Your role will be instrumental in driving the digital transformation agenda and establishing a strong foundation for digital innovation across VW Group Digital Solutions.,
