Information Technology Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Engineer to manage, maintain, and improve our companys IT infrastructure. This role involves supporting hardware, software, networking, and security systems to ensure smooth business operations. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, troubleshooting expertise, and a proactive approach to systems management.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices.

Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement timely solutions.

Manage and secure user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

Provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking problems.

Implement and maintain IT policies, documentation, and best practices.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deploy new technologies.

Support IT infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and automation initiatives.

Maintain cybersecurity standards and compliance with company policies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as an IT Engineer, Systems Administrator, or Network Engineer.

Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems.

Proficiency with networking technologies (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP).

Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Familiarity with IT monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).

Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection practices.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Certifications such as CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.

Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker).

Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Familiarity with ITIL frameworks or ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow).
