Job Summary

Head of Investment Management Technology will be responsible for setting up and managing the investment management technology team. This is a leadership role responsible for leading the technology strategy and execution for the investment management division. This role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of data, data governance, technology solutions that support investment business and business operations.

This role involves stakeholder management, expanding technology teams and drive strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a technology strategy that aligns with the overall business goals of the investment management division.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve operational processes and increase efficiency.
• System Development: Direct the design, development, and maintenance of investment management systems and applications.
• 
  System Management: Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of investment management systems and technology.
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports on operational performance and investment activities to senior management and stakeholders.
• Leadership: Lead and manage a team of professionals from business operations, data, and technology
• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Compliance: Ensure all technology solutions comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies
• Innovation: Identify and implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaboration: Work closely with investment professionals, portfolio managers, traders, compliance officers, and other stakeholders to support investment operations and other stakeholders to understand their technology needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for the technology team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in engineering/information technology, or a related field. A masters degree or relevant certifications is preferred.
• Experience: At least 15-20 years of experience in technology management, with a focus on investment management.
