Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Mumbai for aGeneral Manager Sales & Business Development. The position involves leading and mentoring the sales and business development team while overseeing sales operations and driving structured business growth.
The role includes developing and executing business strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants. The General Manager will guide the team in lead generation, market research, proposal preparation, product presentations, and follow-ups to expand the companys market presence.Key responsibilities also include analyzing market trends, setting sales targets, monitoring team performance, managing key customer accounts, negotiating contracts, securing product approvals, and coordinating with internal teams to achieve overall business objectives and revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate market trends and opportunities effectively.
- BE / B Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in Business Planning and the ability to define strategies for growth.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills for fostering client relationships and addressing client needs.
- Experience in Sales Operations to manage sales pipelines, coordinate with teams, and achieve revenue goals.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities to lead high-performing teams effectively.
- An MBA is a plus.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
