Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM)

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for generating new business, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role focuses on lead generation, client acquisition, deal closure, and account expansion.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Business Development

  • Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, and networking
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Schedule and conduct client meetings and presentations

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions
  • Prepare proposals, commercials, and service agreements
  • Negotiate terms and close deals
  • Maintain long-term client relationships for repeat business

3. Revenue & Target Management

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Track conversion ratios and sales performance
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts

4. Market Research

  • Identify new market opportunities
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends
  • Suggest strategies for business expansion

5. Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate with operations/recruitment teams for delivery
  • Ensure smooth client onboarding and service execution
  • Maintain CRM updates and documentation

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Target-driven and result-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
  • Strong follow-up and closing skills

Qualification

  • Graduate (MBA in Marketing/Business preferred)
  • 2+ years of business development or sales experience (industry-specific experience preferred)
