Job Description

You are looking for a talented IT Program Manager to take the lead in enhancing efficiency across various IT operations teams, including Network Operations, Service Desk, Cloud Operations, and DevOps. Your main responsibilities will involve driving the adoption of Kanban practices, streamlining workflows, and ensuring improvements in service delivery and operational effectiveness. This role will require you to align program goals with organizational objectives, manage budgets effectively, and support senior leadership with data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities will include overseeing programs to enhance IT operations efficiency, collaborating with team leads to identify and resolve bottlenecks, and ensuring that program goals are in line with organizational objectives. You will also drive Kanban adoption across IT teams, optimize workflows, and train teams on Kanban principles to foster a culture of continuous delivery. Identifying automation opportunities, standardizing processes, and facilitating cross-team coordination for release planning and execution will be crucial aspects of this role.
Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards to track operational performance, providing regular updates to senior leadership, and establishing effective communication channels with stakeholders. You will play a vital role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, staying updated on industry trends, evaluating program outcomes, and recommending refinements for future initiatives. Your expertise in change management, leadership, and coaching will be essential in driving successful adoption of new processes and tools and empowering teams to achieve operational excellence.

To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Masters preferred) along with at least 8 years of experience in IT program/project management, particularly focusing on IT operations. Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, Kanban methodologies, and ITSM platforms like ServiceNow and Jira is required. Experience in implementing Kanban systems, familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices, as well as excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or Lean Kanban Practitioner would be highly desirable.
Preferred skills for this role include experience in managing hybrid IT environments, a deep understanding of operational metrics, and proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, and other workflow management systems.
