nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
nParticipate in requirements, design and functional specification reviews at varying levels within the system
nAnalyze, design and develop software or software components
nManage a team to deliver products by proper task allocation, scope and timelines.
nAbility to conduct technical reviews and provide reasonable estimates.
nPractice software development methodology in an agile environment
nValidate existing equations in new versions against previous versions and existing test data.
nDevelop new geometry and heat transfer calculations for new product designs.
nInvolve in reviewing C#/.net code to check for errors in calculations.
nProvide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms
nWorking closely with the internal and external design/development teams in identifying problems
nCollaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers and other engineers
nProvide recommendations for continuous improvement
nQUALIFICATION
nA Masters/Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Engineering
n MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
n5 years of experience in the Heat transfer domain
n2 years of related software engineering experience
nKnowledge of programming in VB.NET, C#.NET, T-SQL would be an added qualification
nSolid work experience with SDL, software change management, continuous integration and automated build processes
nHeat transfer with specific focus on heat exchangers (dual stream, shell & tube, etc.).
nProgramming experience is ideal especially with .net languages.
nExperience in Finite Element analysis calculations
nApply calculation methods as described in the literature
nHands on experience testing/debugging software and providing solutions
nExperience in below mention languages and Frameworks.
nVB.Net
nC#.Net
nMS SQLServer
nJavaScript and any framework.
nNetwork programming
nHTML 4 & 5
nCSS
nEffective oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate clearly and concisely
nSelf-driven, quick learner, results-oriented and a clear focus on high quality
nMust be a good team player
nGOOD TO HAVE

nExperience with aluminum bar and plate heat exchangers is a plus.
