Data Science Manager - Retail Analytics

What role you will play in team: Lead a team of data scientists focused on enhancing Walmart's retail operations through the application of advanced analytics. Guide projects, mentor team members, and deliver actionable insights.

What you will do: You will oversee projects focused on improving supply chain efficiency, optimizing pricing strategies, and enhancing customer experience through data analysis and machine learning.

Key responsibility:

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists in the development and implementation of advanced analytics projects.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models for various retail applications (e.g., demand forecasting, pricing optimization).
• 
  Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise presentations and reports.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in retail analytics and machine learning.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data science, with at least 3 years of team leadership experience.
• Proficiency in Python or R with experience using machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost).
• Experience working with large retail datasets and understanding retail business operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
