Role Overview :

As a pivotal Human Resource Manager and HR Business Partner within our dynamic hospital environment in Mumbai, you will strategically align HR initiatives with critical business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture that directly impacts patient care and operational excellence. This role involves partnering closely with department heads, medical professionals, and administrative teams to provide comprehensive HR solutions across the employee lifecycle. You will be instrumental in shaping a positive employee experience, driving talent development, and ensuring robust employee relations, ultimately contributing to the hospital's reputation as a leading healthcare provider and employer of choice. Your day-to-day will involve a blend of strategic consultation, operational execution, and proactive problem-solving, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as a trusted HR Business Partner, advising senior leaders and department heads on talent strategies, organizational design, and change management to support their operational goals and enhance team performance.


- Drive the full spectrum of HR Generalist activities, including policy implementation, HR compliance, and employee data management, ensuring seamless and efficient HR operations for all staff.

- Lead Talent Acquisition efforts for critical hospital roles, partnering with hiring managers to attract, assess, and onboard top-tier medical and administrative talent, thereby strengthening our workforce capabilities.

- Design and implement impactful Employee Engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition programs, and cultural events, to foster a positive work environment and boost employee morale and retention.

- Manage complex Employee Relations issues, providing expert guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and maintaining a harmonious workplace.

- Oversee the Performance Management cycle, coaching managers on goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

- Enhance the Employee Onboarding experience, developing structured programs that integrate new hires effectively into the hospital's culture and operations, accelerating their productivity and engagement.

- Contribute to HR Transformation projects, identifying opportunities for process optimization, HR technology adoption, and data-driven decision-making to elevate HR service delivery and efficiency.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in strategic HR Business Partnering, with a proven ability to translate business needs into effective HR solutions within a fast-paced, complex organizational setting, preferably healthcare.

- Strong command of HR Generalist functions, including labor laws, compliance, and best practices across the employee lifecycle, ensuring ethical and legal HR operations.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and the ability to influence and build rapport with diverse employee groups, from medical staff to administrative personnel.

- Proven ability to lead and execute comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategies, including employer branding and candidate experience, to attract high-caliber professionals.

- Adept at designing and implementing Employee Engagement and Performance Management frameworks that drive organizational culture and individual growth.

- An MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from a premier institution, demonstrating a strong foundational and advanced understanding of HR principles.

- Ability to thrive in a demanding, on-site environment in Mumbai, managing multiple priorities and adapting to the unique operational rhythms of a 24/7 hospital setting.
