Job Description
- We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team and take charge of developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to maintain product quality. As a QA Engineer, your responsibilities will involve designing and implementing tests, debugging, defining corrective actions, reviewing system requirements, and monitoring quality assurance metrics. You will play a crucial role in our product development process by ensuring that software runs smoothly, meets client needs, and remains cost-effective.
Ideally, we seek a candidate with an engineering background who thrives on providing end-to-end solutions to software quality issues. Your role will include monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions in order to meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to offer timely and constructive feedback.
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly.
- Conduct thorough regression testing once bugs are resolved.
- Establish and implement testing processes for new and existing products to meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as developers and product managers to determine system requirements.
- Monitor the results of the debugging process.
- Investigate reasons for non-conforming software and provide user training on implementing solutions.
- Keep abreast of new testing tools and strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Proven work experience in software development and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Hands-on experience with white box and black box testing.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools.
- Solid understanding of SQL and scripting.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Experience in performance and/or security testing is advantageous.
- Experience with Javascript testing using Jest/Cypress and selenium web driver.
- Experience in Mobile Application Testing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a work schedule of day shifts and fixed shifts from Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of total work experience and be willing to work in person. Bachelor's degree is preferred for education requirements.,
