Tech Finance India Team are responsible for providing very detailed Enterprise Finance plans, tracks, analyzes and reports financial results. This team partners with business leaders to educate, inform and bring valuable subject matter expertise on all matters Finance. About the Role
Reporting into the India Senior Finance Technology Lead, the India Technology Finance Manager will be a key member of the Technology Finance team. And will manage a variety of technology financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and financial analysis with a strong focus on a mired of Technology related costs. The role involves partnering and supporting the India and US Regional teams providing cost transparency to assist with achieving strategic and operational financial goals. Some of the key responsibilities include:- This role will support the India region and the US Regional Technology Finance Organization
- The role is an essential part of the India Technology Finance team, supporting the FP&A function with a focus on monthly reporting and analytics essential for the US and India Regional Technology Financial teams
- Embody thought leadership and effectively partner with Technology Finance team members.
- The ability to multi task, communicate effectively, and possess a keen attention to detail will allow you to be successful
- Deliver data and information aligned to operating SLA's
- Meet individual goals, priorities aligned with overall Technology Finance organizational responsibilities and strategy
- This role will be responsible managing the local Technology Finance Team in India for all business management and financials. There will be reporting relationships to the Head of India Finance, which supports the Head of Technology in India and the Head of US Regional FP&A Technology Finance.
Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes: Manage all the functions of Technology Finance including Business Support, FP&A, Vendor Financial Operations, Workforce Analytics, Allocations and Expense Initiatives.
Business Support - Partner with technology finance and functional stakeholders globally and in India to contribute towards meeting the overall technology and technology finance goals and objectives
- Manage and provide analysis of key business drivers, trends and performance indicators to provide value-added inputs to help decision making in executing strategy
- Manage the preparation of Technology Functions budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) exercise from Technology stand-point and have ability to articulate the financial impact with change in stress scenario/Economic variables
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Manage and direct team in all reporting and analytical activities; analyze financial data and participate in preparing and presenting financial analysis to Technology Functional leaders
- Manage and provide insight of Technology Functions budgeting and forecasting process
- Monthly Financial Operations
- Manage monthly close process by analyzing and reconciling expense activity; formulate monthly accruals/journal entries, utilizing various internal and vendor provided financial applications to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.
- Manage Capital Budgeting/Forecasting including Fixed Assets and Balance Sheet reviews
- Manage CCAR/DFAST modeling and stress testing evaluations, SEC and FRB regulatory reporting.
- Track and analyze Direct and Indirect Cost Allocations
- Vendor Financial Operations
- Manage and provide guidance on vendors that track and analyze vendor expenses to ensure costs are accurately captured and forecasted.
- Mange and liaise with Supply Chain on Procure-to-pay Governance Processes.
- Manage and deliver vendor spend analytics and metrics to highlight risks and opportunities.
- Manage General ledger Maintenance support processes (Open/Closer of Accounts, fields, organization hierarchies etc.)
- Manage SLA's and measure them against metrics for continuous improvements and efficiencies
- Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Comprehensive Capital Analysis Review (CCAR)

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics; CA/CFA/MBA a plus
- Total 10+ years of experience in corporate, multi-line business organization.
- Ability to perform complex analyses, build financial models, draw conclusions, and communicate recommendations to business leaders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to give presentations and briefings to senior management
- Creative and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to analyze business transactions and identify key Finance risks/mitigating controls,
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high energy levels
- Must be able to work independently with positive collaboration within a fast paced, team environment
- Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Finance and Accounting concepts, methodologies and systems. (Cost Basis Accounting, GAAP, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting)
- Exposure to key accounting tools like Oracle Financials, Essbase and Power BI & Apptio tools.
- Strong knowledge in PowerPoint and Excel skills required.
- Attention to detail - Recognizes the importance of detail to ensure data integrity
- Comfortable to work UK hours supporting US counterparts
