Job Description
What role you will play in team: You’ll be part of a team conducting financial audits, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting within Wells Fargo's Indian operations.
What you will do: You will perform testing procedures, document findings, and contribute to the preparation of audit reports. You’ll support senior auditors in all phases of the audit process.
Key responsibility:
- Conducting financial statement audits according to auditing standards.
- Performing substantive testing and control testing.
- Documenting audit procedures and findings in accordance with professional standards.
- Assisting with the preparation of audit reports and communication of results.
- Working collaboratively with senior team members and clients.
- Analyzing financial data and identifying potential irregularities.
- Staying abreast of changes in accounting standards and auditing procedures.
Required Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 0-1 year of experience in auditing (internship experience considered).
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in data analysis techniques using Excel or other tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
