Financial Audit Staff

What role you will play in team: You’ll be part of a team conducting financial audits, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting within Wells Fargo's Indian operations.

What you will do: You will perform testing procedures, document findings, and contribute to the preparation of audit reports. You’ll support senior auditors in all phases of the audit process.

Key responsibility:

• Conducting financial statement audits according to auditing standards.
• Performing substantive testing and control testing.
• Documenting audit procedures and findings in accordance with professional standards.
• Assisting with the preparation of audit reports and communication of results.
• 
  Working collaboratively with senior team members and clients.
• Analyzing financial data and identifying potential irregularities.
• Staying abreast of changes in accounting standards and auditing procedures.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 0-1 year of experience in auditing (internship experience considered).
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficient in data analysis techniques using Excel or other tools.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
