Department Overview
The Customer Service Management (CSM) team’s mandate is to provide modern, seamless, and consistent experience for our Bankers, Tellers, and Call Center agents, through multiple platforms and associated technologies by maintaining & simplifying existing cross channel customer service platforms.
About the Role
As a Product Analyst for one of our Customer Service Management (CSM) scrums, you will support the evolution and implementation of key CSM capabilities that transform the Wells Fargo customer service experience. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Product Management and line of business (LOB) partners, Product owners and Technology teams to deliver solutions via Agile methodology. To be successful in this role, you must be a strong team player with exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, who thrives as an independent contributor, yet is able to leverage your technical acumen to build credibility and direct matrixed resources in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
In this role you will:
- Lead or participate in providing product support for Customer Service Management platform and technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems across multiple systems.
- Contribute to the development of systems, controls and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements.
- Evaluate simple to moderately complex, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation and/or testing effort.
- Partner with Product team, business stakeholders, technology teams, testing teams to evaluate moderately complex issues, defects and other problems to provide comprehensive technology solutions.
- Act as an internal consultant for technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes
- Collaborate and consult with product (business and technology) teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables.
- Coordinate communication and information flow between product, business and technology teams.
Essential Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/ Product Analyst or technology related Quality Assurance (QA) testing or engineering/developer experience and overall experience of 7+ Years
- Ability to partner effectively with multiple stakeholders in Business & Technology teams like Architecture, Line of Business, Information Security, and Application Developers/SMEs while developing technical solutions to business problems
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy along with ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
- Ability to synthesize data to form a story and align information to contrast or compare to industry perspective and historical business trends
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Agile and Jira experience in large, regulated organizations
Desired Qualification
- Knowledge and experience of Financial services and Banking industry including products, systems, processes, and data
- Demonstrated track record of successful definition and delivery of data-oriented insights solutions
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to engage and influence senior technology and business leaders
- Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Equally comfortable with business products and solutions as with direct data movement and analytic techniques
- Experience with Agile Scrum methods and Confluence and JIRA tools suite
- Microsoft Office (Excel / PowerPoint / Word / MS Visio)
