Position: Senior Analytics Consultant

The Consumer Data Products team at Wells Fargo India and Philippines is looking for a Lead Analytics Consultant/ Senior Analytics Consultant, who would primarily be responsible for writing rules for our Data Utilities, and perform Post-Production Validation.

In general, the incumbent will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting logic & code to support propriety marketing rules engine. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management and analysis techniques, experience with financial data and would be hands on with scenario testing

We are looking for someone with a strong dose of common sense/strong logic skills; can pick up on how to do things easily. A new team member will struggle and likely not be successful if they are a "task follower", and cant really think for themselves and have an inquisitive nature to ensure that the rule is created in a way that meets the intended inclusion/suppression rule.

In this role you will be:

• Interpret Technical logic / pseudo code to understand and document requirements for campaign rules
• Design and develop rules within proprietary rules engine to support campaign business.
• Perform Unit / Scenario testing to evaluate output and present same for review
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the need for solutioning
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency by monitoring and validating data quality.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance data management processes.

Required Qualifications, US:

• 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Advanced knowledge of SQL 5-8 years
• Significant experience performing Unit Testing
• Experience with working on rules engine and interest to learn new tools
• Previous experience performing scenario testing, evaluating out put and being able to present out put to peers for review
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technology – this role will require learning CoBRRa and ARGenT, two proprietary tools
• Ability to interpret technical logic / pseudo code and create the rule within the CoBRRa tool.
• Ability to multi-task and manage the creation of multiple rules simultaneously, including the ability to manage working with USA based resources to manage the Q&A cycle
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the financial industry

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with Hadoop
• Project Management experience
