Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant
In this role, you will:- Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
- Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
- Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
- Lead or participate on large cross group projects
- Mentor less experienced staff
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
At least 9-12 years of experience, working on data and Analytics.
Experience in tools like Informatica, Alteryx, Power BI and others
- Data analysis on a large set of data
SQL, Database, Data warehousing, Star Schema, Data Services, Joins, complex queries.
Advanced Excel
Able to design, develop and deliver the data to insights journey.
Able to ideate and create technical designs.
Job Expectations:
Data Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Informatica tools.
Ensure efficient data integration, transformation, and loading from various sources to data warehouses and data lakes.
Optimize and scale data processing workflows to handle large volumes of data and support analytical and reporting needs
Informatica Expertise: Utilize Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud, or other Informatica products to develop and manage ETL processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot Informatica workflows to ensure successful data movement and transformation.
Stay updated with the latest Informatica features and enhancements and apply them to improve data processes.
Data Management: Manage and optimize data storage solutions and databases to ensure data integrity, security, and availability.
Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to maintain high data quality and consistency.
Collaborate with data stewards and business stakeholders to define and enforce data standards and best practices.
Manage data governance frameworks.
Conduct data quality assessments and audits.
Leverage data analytics to provide actionable insights and support decision making.
Experience in data governance, data management and data quality management.
Able to comprehend business requirements and problems and come out with a desired solution.
Work with senior executives and able to convey & articulate the solution and results.
Experience in working in matrix.
