About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer...
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications, US:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Extensive experience and proven track record in leading projects involving JBPM, RHPAM, BPMN, Spring Boot, Microservices, Drools, and JBPM task management.
Expertise in BPM concepts, methodologies, and architectural patterns, with a deep understanding of workflow orchestration and process automation.
Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks, with strong object-oriented design skills and architectural principles.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices design principles, with hands-on experience in building scalable and resilient distributed systems.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively and interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
Prior experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies, with a focus on delivering iterative and incremental value to stakeholders.
Strong commitment to quality, with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement in software development practices and processes.
Job Expectations:
Hands on experience in the design, development, and maintenance of BPM solutions using JBPM and RHPAM, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in BPM and microservices environments, leveraging advanced debugging and problem-solving skills to ensure system stability and resilience.
Drive the implementation of BPMN standards to optimize business processes and streamline workflows effectively.
Integrate Drools for advanced business rules management within BPM solutions, enabling dynamic decision-making capabilities.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and guide feature implementation, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Champion best practices in coding standards, optimization techniques, and architectural patterns, ensuring high-quality code delivery.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in BPM, microservices, and related domains, driving continuous learning and innovation within the team.
Customize and extend Red Hat Process Automation Manager (RHPAM) capabilities, leveraging JBPM, to address specific business requirements and optimize workflow processes effectively.
Manage and enhance JBPM task management functionalities, overseeing task assignment, escalation, and tracking processes with a focus on improving efficiency and productivity.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation, leveraging JBPM and microservices technologies to drive business transformation and operational excellence.Looking to get Placed?
