About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Recruitment Manager (Vice President) to manage end-to-end recruitment process, hire top talent, and ensure effective stakeholder experience for specialist functions (Analytics, Product management, front and middle office capabilities).
This leadership role will be part of and lead a dynamic talent acquisition team, will build and execute hiring plans for business enablement, and co-partner with senior Leaders to ensure the company remains ahead in a competitive talent market. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with keen understanding of business functions and capability in building and scaling up teams.
In This Role, You Will
  • Lead the hiring delivery for one or more business lines in the organization, develop / implement recruitment strategy to attract the right talent and help them become an employer of choice for prospective candidates.
  • Work with the business leaders on approach to talent demand and supply needs; co-partner with HR and business stakeholders on employer branding programs to establish the company as a top choice for potential employees.
  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, review and guide Hiring Managers for effective job descriptions, develop effective recruitment plans, operate with a solution provider and compliance mindset for operational issues /concerns.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including social media, job boards, networking events, to source relevant candidates and maintain strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Review recruitment processes regularly and share good industry practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide regular reports and metrics on recruitment activities, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire measures.
  • Guide and coach team members of the recruitment team, providing support and give clarity to team to manage hiring volumes along with quality of hire and stakeholder experience in focus.
  • Collaborate with other HR functions, such as HR business partners and talent development, build effective relationships with a one team mindset.
  • Manage and develop a recruiting team responsible for recruiting activities within an assigned area
  • Consult with middle and more experienced level management on strategic initiatives related to the current and future staffing needs of the business and develop the recruiting and sourcing strategies to meet those needs
  • Review and analyze moderately complex business challenges within Executive Recruiting functional area that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
  • Implement recruitment strategy for multiple openings, including candidate identification, assessment, development, hiring recommendations, and executive referrals
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager in hiring for less complex executive positions through actively managing candidate communication, including negotiating terms, and conducting reference checks to facilitate offer acceptance
  • Source and ensure robust and diverse external pipelines are generated and maintained to fill talent acquisition needs across the enterprise
  • Provide insight to execute best practice internal and external executive search strategies for less complex, lower level executive positions
  • Understand and ensure adherence to all hiring policies
  • Research third party search firm referrals and recommend relationship initiation as appropriate
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of Recruiting functional area and team and develop policies and procedures
  • Develop effective working relationships with business management and internal partners, and exercise the usual authority of a manager, including selection and development of individuals
  • Collaborate and consult with Recruiting peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Recruiting functional area
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a masters degree in human resource or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 14 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 9+ years of management experience in a people Manager role in the Banking and Financial Services space
  • Strong experience in hiring for specialist functions (Analytics, Product management, front and middle office capabilities).
  • Strong sourcing skills utilizing all appropriate channels including online resources, events, relationship building and networking.
  • Strong experience in leading self & team on TA transformation and change management.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in analyzing recruitment related metrics; displays strong understanding of recruitment best practices, techniques, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrates leadership abilities, with prior experience in managing and developing teams.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), MS tools.
