The SUP_Utility_WDI - Hydraulic is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems in an industrial setting. This role ensures optimal hydraulic system performance, minimizes downtime, and maintains safety and compliance. The position involves preventive maintenance, system optimization, and collaboration with engineering teams to improve system efficiency and reliability. Candidates should have experience in hydraulic systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.

Hydraulic System Operations:Oversee the operation of hydraulic systems that support production machinery and equipment. Monitor the performance of hydraulic equipment to ensure it meets operational requirements and efficiency standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, filters, and hoses. Preventive Maintenance and Repairs:Perform routine preventive maintenance on hydraulic systems and associated components. Address system failures and breakdowns promptly to ensure minimal impact on production schedules. Conduct system inspections and diagnostic tests to detect early signs of potential failures. Replace or repair worn-out parts such as seals, hoses, and pumps as necessary. System Optimization and Efficiency:Optimize hydraulic systems for maximum efficiency, minimizing energy consumption and reducing wear and tear. Implement upgrades or modifications to improve the performance of existing hydraulic systems. Work closely with engineers to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for hydraulic systems. Health, Safety, and Compliance:Ensure all hydraulic systems comply with relevant safety regulations and environmental standards. Adhere to established health and safety protocols when working with high-pressure hydraulic systems and fluids. Report and assist in corrective actions for any safety hazards related to hydraulic systems. Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of hydraulic system performance, repairs, and maintenance. Provide detailed reports on system downtime, causes, and resolutions to management. Document hydraulic fluid usage, maintenance schedules, and inspection outcomes. Team Coordination and Support:Collaborate with other utility and engineering team members to ensure the smooth operation of all utility systems. Provide support to operators and technicians on troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic systems during shifts. Assist in training less experienced team members on best practices related to hydraulic system operation and maintenance. Continuous Improvement:Proactively identify areas for improvement within hydraulic systems, focusing on reducing costs, enhancing reliability, and improving operational efficiency. Suggest and implement new technologies or techniques to enhance system performance. Other Duties:Assist in other utility system-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on the latest hydraulic technologies and industry standards.
