Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Treasury Accountant - Letter of Guarantee (LG) and Letter of Credit (LC) Expert, based in Abu Dhabi. The responsibilities of the role include managing treasury operations, overseeing cash management processes, ensuring efficient cash flow management, and reviewing and preparing financial statements. The Treasury Accountant will also handle LG and LC transactions, ensuring compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Proven expertise in Treasury Management, including handling Letters of Guarantee (LG) and Letters of Credit (LC)
• Strong experience in Cash Management and ensuring effective Cash Flow processes
• Knowledge and practical experience with Financial Statements and their preparation
• Possession of advanced Analytical Skills for complex financial decision-making

• High attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in relevant accounting software
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required
• Previous experience in the construction or transportation industry is advantageous
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
• Handle and knowledge of Import and Export Letter of Credit's ( ( LC) Letter of Guarantee's ( LG's) and Trust Receipts documents.
• Experience in opening the new LC, LG's and amendment through online banking as well as manual applications
• Maintain all the LC/LG upcoming payments due date's and inform to the manger the fund situation .
• Ensure proper check on all the LC commissions, Guarantee's commission etc. with the Bank statement as per the approved facilities on daily basis etc.
• Follow up with bank on all the LC and LG related issues for the issuance

  Get Hired
  Ensure proper check and balance approach on all the trade finance processes.
• Follow up with the respective department for the return of the Bank Guarantee's on timely basis.
• Attend to LC suppliers & customers enquiries and resolving the complaints.
• Follow up the LC's supplier payments from the sites, check and send to the Payable Accountant for President signature.
• Support to day to day through input and of all the banking transactions
• Maintain and upkeep of all the bank related LC/LG documents etc.
• Maintain all the LC & LG list and monitor the expiry dates and inform to the manager to renew or to cancel.
• Attend to queries/requests in a timely and accurate manner to meet the expectations
