The team you will be a part of
The Tax team ensures that the organization meets its tax obligations and objectives and complies with all relevant laws and regulations. Activities may include undertaking research; evaluating the legality and tax effectiveness of current and future business activities; preparing and submitting tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports; maintaining tax records; and corresponding with external tax agencies or consultants.
This Role In Summary
Responsible for taking care of Income tax litigation, compliances and US GAAP tax and litigation reporting for Whirlpool of India Limited and Income tax litigation, compliances review for Elica India.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Whr India Income Tax Litigation Tracker (yearwise).
Monitor and update with respect to Notices / Orders. Work on submissions (paper book filing), appeal filing with Income Tax Deptt. Maintain Income tax litigation tracker for Elica India and coordinate with Elica team for regular updates and way forward

• Update to Global Tax Team on Whr India and Eica India Income Tax Litigation (quarterly).
• Preparation of Income Tax Litigation memo for India with respect to FIN 48 reserve - Quarterly (US GAAP)
• Direct Tax Law updates / amendments deck for Global Tax Team- Quarterly
• Income Tax Computation and Tax Return e-filing - WOIL, WALLP, WIHL, Whr Corp, Whr Properties Inc, Whr Trusts (2 in nos) - 7 entities - Annual
• Monthly and Annual Hypo Tax activity for WOIL and WALLP
• Tax calculation on ESOPs - WOIL - As and when required basis
• Transfer Pricing Study for WOIL and WALLP - Annual
• CbCR (Country by Country Reporting) - Statutory forms preparation and submission for WOIL (4 in nos) and WALLP (1 in no.) - Annual
• Quarterly Cash Reporting Package (CRP) - Preparation and submission

• Quarterly SOX compliance - Control owner survey (COS) and MRC submission for 12 Direct Tax Controls
• Review of Tax Audit (Form 3CA-3CD), TP Audit (Form 3CEB) and ensure timely e-filing - Annual
• Review of US GAAP and Ind AS Tax workings - Quarterly
• Review of India entities US GAAP Tax Reporting - Quarterly
• Review of Quarterly Balance Sheet Flux and submission.
• Review of Shareholder Dividend TDS and ensure TDS deposit - Annual
• Review and submission of Blackline schedules - Monthly
• Review of US GAAP International Tax package for India entities - Annual
• Review of monthly, quarterly TDS compliances (Liability deposit and E-TDS Returns) - WOIL, WALLP, WIHL
• Review and approval of withholding tax rates (domestic and foreign) - As and when required basis

Qualifications & Certifications
Chartered Accountant (CA)
Experience
13-15 years
