- We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager (GeM) to lead and expand our presence on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing government accounts, and ensuring compliance with GeM policies and procedures.

- The Business Development Manager will identify new business opportunities within central and state government departments, PSUs, autonomous bodies, and public sector organizations through the GeM portal. Key responsibilities include onboarding products and services on GeM, managing catalog listings, participating in bids and reverse auctions, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

- The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to meet technical, commercial, and documentation requirements for government tenders. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with government buyers, understanding procurement needs, and positioning company offerings to maximize win rates.

- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and changes in GeM guidelines is essential to stay competitive and compliant. Ensuring accurate pricing, GST compliance, and adherence to SLAs will be a critical part of the role.

- The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of government procurement processes, GeM workflows, and tendering mechanisms. Experience in handling government sales, contracts, and negotiations is required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential for success in this position.

- This role requires a proactive, target-driven professional with the ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving revenue growth and strengthening the organizations footprint in the government sector through the GeM platform.
