Whirlpool - Senior Manager/Talent Acquisition Lead

The Talent Acquisition team implements the organization's recruitment strategy so that job vacancies are quickly filled, new employees are smoothly integrated into the organization and the candidates selected best match the needs of the position and the business. Recruitment activities may include advertising, interviewing, testing, selecting candidates; checking references; negotiating employment offers; relocation; orientation and introductory training.
This role in summary :
The Senior Manager Talent Acquisition leads a team of Recruiters, and empowers them to execute against functional goals by providing direction on recruiting strategies and best practices. The incumbent will own hiring leader relationships and ensure candidates have a positive hiring experience. This role will also be responsible for providing hiring guidance to hiring leaders and ensure the team is presenting high quality candidates in an efficient amount of time. The TA Lead will manage and present key metrics to the leadership as well as escalate any concerns / roadblocks.
Your responsibilities will include :

- Maintains high visibility with and influences assigned business leaders and HR members

- Provides day-to-day management and direction of strategic initiatives by managing a team of recruiters, associate recruiters, and coordinators

- Lead end to end Executive hiring for organization in individual capacity

- Interfaces with other TA COE and TA Managers to gain insight into business talent needs and stays current on regional best practices and issues

- Uses knowledge and expertise in TA to coach and develop TA team members

- Ensures ATS information is up to date and compliant with regional regulations

- Acts as talent acquisition SME to advise and prioritize both local and global needs

- Partners with HR Operations to ensure alignment and delivery for cross-functional initiatives and successful day-to-day TA delivery

- Monitors and measures the overall effectiveness/impact of the internal and external TA strategies, TA execution, and stakeholder/candidate satisfaction

- Manages regional vendor relationships, contracts and performance

- Works with procurement to provide requirements, participate in selection and manage ongoing regional vendor relationships
Preferred skills and experiences :

- Masters degree or equivalent in Human Resources

- 10+ years of work exp in HR (3+ years managing and leading TA)

- Experience in new world recruitment tools, technologies, and platforms to enhance process efficiencies

- Exceptional assessment and interviewing skills; strong command of assessment and selection methodologies, instruments, and processes

- In-depth knowledge of the TA landscape in the industry

- Familiarity with regional TA vendor contracts and contract management
